Tony Zhao graduated from Tianjin University with a Master Degree in chemical engineering. Then got Master degree of Chemistry and Biology, UBC(Canada). He once worked for Sinopec, Air Products, Ballard Power Systems, AFCC (Automotive Fuel Cell Cooperation), and the Mercedes-Benz Ford Fuel Cell Cooperative.
Since 2001, he had been engaged in fuel cell research and development, including fuel cell performance testing and verification, accelerated testing, life cycle testing, membrane electrode encapsulation, and fuel cell development. He has more than 20 years of experience in fuel cell performance testing and verification, accelerated testing, test program development, membrane electrode encapsulation, sealing and system interface, cold start, electrochemical mechanism studies, failure mechanism (failure) and reliability studies, and fuel cell logic.
